I hadn’t
read any
Legion
books
before
this
one, so
I was
really
interested
in this
as an
introduction
to them,
and as
that it
certainly
succeeds.
There is
a nice
spread
early on
that
introduces
the
planet
of
origin
of
each
main
character
and what
their
powers
are,
which
really
helps
make
sense of
the vast
Legion
cast of
characters.
This
storyline
introduces
some
interesting
concepts,
as the
Legion
starts
out with
the
strong
support
of the
universal
government,
but
their
tactics
soon
cause
them to
be at
odds
with the
government
as they
do.
There
was
still a
lot in
this
that I
found
confusing
but it
is still
interesting
and
Kitson’s
art is a
good fit
for the
book. If
you are
interested
in the
Legion
as it is
today,
or
getting
a nice
overview
of the
characters,
try this
book
out.
Maybe
you
might
not want
to buy
it…I
certainly
never
felt the
need,
but it
is
definitely
worth
checking
out from
the
library
or
borrowing
from a
friend.
It
certainly
was
helpful
for me
as a
Legion
newbie,
and it
may be
for you
as well.
